SAT Requirements
Colorado State University requires SAT scores for admission, though the university is test-optional for fall applicants starting in 2025. Students who choose to submit SAT scores can use them to qualify for merit scholarships and strengthen their application. The SAT is one of several factors considered in the admission process, alongside GPA, extracurricular activities, and essays. While the SAT is not required for all majors, some programs may have higher SAT requirements for admission. For example, the College of Business might require a higher SAT score for admission to certain programs.
