SAT Requirements
The University of Rhode Island requires SAT scores for a majority of its applicants. While the university does not require test scores for all students, those who submit scores are evaluated as part of the admissions process.
URI accepts SAT scores between 1160 and 1300. The average SAT score for admitted students is 1220, with a competitive score of 1300 or above strongly recommended for merit-based scholarships and higher admissions consideration. While the SAT is not required for all applicants, submitting scores can enhance your application and provide an edge in the competitive admissions process.
