SAT Requirements for UCR Admissions
In recent years, the University of California system, including UCR, has adopted a test-blind admissions policy. This means that SAT and ACT scores are not considered at all during the admissions process. The shift aims to promote equity and focus on a holistic review of applicants.
Despite this change, standardized tests can still play a role in course placement and scholarship opportunities. Therefore, preparing for the SAT may still be beneficial for prospective students.

SAT Policy: Test-Optional
Recommended Score: While test scores are not required, achieving a combined SAT score of 1000 or higher may strengthen your application.
