SAT Requirements
Pacific Union College does not require the SAT for all applicants. However, if you choose to submit your SAT scores, they can positively impact your admission chances. The college does not publish specific cutoff scores, but anecdotal evidence suggests that students with SAT scores above 1200 are in a stronger competitive position.
The SAT is not the sole determinant of admission, but a strong score can demonstrate academic readiness. The college also considers other factors such as GPA, extracurricular activities, essays, and recommendation letters. Test-optional status is not available at Pacific Union College.
While SAT scores are not mandatory, they can provide an advantage for applicants with high scores and strong academic records. The college values a holistic approach to admissions, meaning they consider the entire application package rather than just test scores.
