SAT Requirements
Applicants to Indiana University Northwest must submit either SAT or ACT scores. However, the institution is test-optional for students who meet specific criteria.
To be considered for test-optional admission, students must meet one of the following criteria: a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or completion of at least three college-level courses with a C or better. For students who choose to submit SAT or ACT scores, IUN requires the following minimum scores: SAT 940 and ACT 20-25.

Test Policy
IUN is test-optional for students who meet the following criteria:
1. Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of application.
2. Students who have completed at least three college-level courses with a C or better.
- Test-optional for eligible students.
- SAT or ACT scores are required for students who choose to submit them.
- Admission decisions are based on GPA, test scores (if submitted), and other academic factors.
