SAT Requirements
Bowling Green State University requires SAT scores for admission, but the exact requirements can vary slightly depending on your application context. In general, BGU is test-optional for students who submit a completed application by July 15, but many competitive seats are awarded to students who meet or exceed the middle 50% SAT range of 1020-1300. However, if you don't submit test scores, your application will not be considered for merit scholarships or competitive programs. The university also offers a test-optional policy for students who meet certain criteria, such as demonstrated academic excellence. For example, students who achieve an ACT score of 34-36 (SAT 1450-1600) or higher are more likely to be admitted to BGU's most competitive programs.
